HOME MUSE STUDIO β€” TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Home Muse Studio. By accepting a quote, paying an invoice or instructing Home Muse Studio to begin work, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Home Muse Studio provides creative content services specialising in AI-assisted interior styling, product visualisation, imagery, short-form video, creative direction and social media content for furniture, homeware and lifestyle brands.

Our current content packages include The Feature, The Content Edit and The Campaign Collection, as well as custom projects and optional add-ons.

The specific inclusions, price and deliverables for each project will be outlined in your accepted quote or proposal.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our content packages are content creation services only and do not include promotion, posting or featuring your brand on Home Muse Studio's own social media channels.

2. AI-Assisted Content

Home Muse Studio uses artificial intelligence as part of its creative production process, together with creative direction, interior styling, image/video production and editing.

We aim to represent client products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, AI-assisted imagery and video may occasionally contain minor variations in colour, materials, scale, texture, lighting, reflections, shadows, fine product details, architecture or movement.

AI-assisted content should therefore be considered creative product visualisation rather than photography of a physical environment.

3. Product Information & Accuracy

Clients are responsible for supplying accurate product information and suitable reference material.

This may include product links, dimensions, materials, colourways, finishes, high-resolution imagery, detail photographs, product specifications and relevant brand guidelines.

Client-supplied imagery and product specifications will be treated as the primary source of truth.

Home Muse Studio cannot guarantee accurate representation of product details that have not been supplied or are not clearly visible within the reference materials.

4. Client-Supplied Assets

By supplying product photographs, logos, trademarks, copy, artwork or other brand materials, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for Home Muse Studio to use those materials in connection with your project.

5. Creative Direction

Home Muse Studio will create the project according to the agreed brief, selected package, supplied reference materials and brand requirements.

Unless otherwise agreed, Home Muse Studio retains reasonable creative discretion regarding styling, composition, camera angles, lighting, props, architecture, supporting furniture and overall visual direction.

Any essential restrictions should be communicated before creative production begins.

6. Revisions

Revision allowances will be stated within your selected package or quote.

A revision includes reasonable adjustments to the agreed concept, such as minor styling, colour, composition, prop or product-detail changes.

Requests for a completely new room, style, product or creative direction are considered a change of scope and may incur an additional fee.

7. Changes to the Brief

Significant changes made after production begins may be quoted as additional work.

This includes changes to products, colourways, materials, room styles, campaign direction or previously approved requirements.

8. Turnaround

Project timelines commence once Home Muse Studio has received all required product information, imagery, brand assets, brief information and any required payment or deposit.

Delays in client feedback, approvals or supplying assets may affect delivery dates.

Rush services may be available for an additional fee.

9. Client Approval

Clients are responsible for reviewing final content before using or publishing it.

This includes checking product representation, colour, branding, spelling, product information, materials and other commercially important details.

Approval confirms acceptance of the final content.

10. Payment

Project pricing and payment terms will be outlined in your quote or invoice.

Home Muse Studio may require a deposit or full payment before production commences.

Final high-resolution content may be withheld until all outstanding fees have been paid.

Work outside the agreed project scope will be quoted separately.

11. Cancellation

If a project is cancelled after creative production has commenced, deposits may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The client may also be responsible for payment for work already completed at the time of cancellation.

Usage rights are not granted for cancelled, unpaid or unfinished work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Unlimited Commercial & Brand Usage

Once full payment has been received, the client is granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive commercial usage licence for all final approved assets.

This means your final content may be used indefinitely for your own brand and marketing purposes, with no expiry date and no ongoing Home Muse Studio licensing fees.

Approved usage includes:

  • Brand websites

  • E-commerce

  • Organic social media

  • Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn

  • Email marketing

  • Digital advertising

  • Paid social advertising

  • Boosted posts

  • Online campaigns

  • Digital catalogues

  • Brand presentations

  • Retailer or stockist marketing relating to your products

Usage rights apply only to final approved and fully paid-for content.

13. Paid Advertising

Unless specifically excluded within your quote, the unlimited commercial licence includes use of final approved content in paid digital advertising.

There are no additional Home Muse Studio licensing charges based on advertising spend or campaign duration.

14. Retailers, Agencies & Third Parties

Clients may supply final approved content to their retailers, stockists, distributors, agencies and marketing partners where the content is being used to promote the client's brand or products.

The content may not be independently sold, licensed or redistributed as a standalone asset by a third party.

15. Editing Final Content

Clients may reasonably crop, resize or adapt final assets for their own marketing needs, including adding branding, pricing, promotional messaging or platform-specific formatting.

Content must not be edited in a way that materially misrepresents the featured product or falsely attributes another product, brand or claim.

16. Copyright & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Home Muse Studio retains copyright and ownership of the original creative work.

The client's unlimited commercial usage licence allows the final approved content to be used indefinitely but does not transfer copyright ownership.

Prompts, unused generations, alternative concepts, working files, workflows and production methods remain the intellectual property of Home Muse Studio.

17. Home Muse Studio Portfolio Use

Unless otherwise agreed, Home Muse Studio may showcase completed work within its portfolio, website, social media, case studies, media kit, presentations or marketing materials.

This is separate from any promotional feature purchased by or provided to the client.

Where a project involves an unreleased collection or confidential campaign, Home Muse Studio will reasonably respect an agreed embargo or launch date.

18. No Guaranteed Promotion or Performance

Purchasing a Home Muse Studio package does not include social media promotion by Home Muse Studio unless separately agreed.

Home Muse Studio does not guarantee specific results including reach, engagement, views, website traffic, enquiries, sales, conversions or advertising performance.

19. Exclusivity

Projects are non-exclusive unless exclusivity has been agreed in writing.

Home Muse Studio may create content for other brands within the furniture, homeware, interior or lifestyle industries.

Category or competitor exclusivity may incur an additional fee.

20. Product & Marketing Claims

Clients are responsible for ensuring any factual product or marketing claims they provide are accurate, lawful and appropriately substantiated.

This includes claims relating to materials, sustainability, manufacturing, origin, performance, availability, pricing and promotions.

21. Third-Party Creative Platforms

Home Muse Studio may use third-party AI, image, video and editing software in its production process.

Platform availability and functionality may change from time to time. Where this materially affects a project, Home Muse Studio will work with the client to determine a reasonable alternative.

22. Confidentiality

Home Muse Studio will take reasonable steps to protect information provided in relation to unreleased products, campaigns or collections.

Clients should clearly identify confidential information or embargo dates before production begins.

23. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Muse Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of supplied content, including loss of profit, sales, revenue, opportunity or reputation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

24. Acceptance

By accepting a Home Muse Studio quote, paying an invoice or instructing Home Muse Studio to commence work, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Project-specific terms contained within a quote, proposal or agreement apply in addition to these Terms.
